Something broken, confusing, or missing in one of my iOS apps? Email me at [email protected] and I’ll get back to you.
There’s no ticket system and no bot — it’s just me reading the mail.
What to include
The more of this you can tell me, the faster I can help:
- Which app, and its version — usually in the app’s own settings or about screen
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- How to make it happen again, if you can
- Your device and iOS version — Settings → General → About
- A screenshot or screen recording, if it’s something you can see
If the app crashed, it helps enormously if you have crash reporting turned on in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers. Those reports reach me automatically and are anonymous.
Feature requests
Very welcome. Same address. Tell me what you’re trying to do rather than how you think it should work — that usually leads somewhere better.
I can’t promise anything gets built. I make these apps in my spare time, and I’d rather say nothing than promise a date I’ll miss.
Response times
I’m one person in the UK, so replies land on my schedule, not a support desk’s. Most messages get an answer within a few days. If a week goes by with nothing, send it again — it’ll have got lost, not ignored.
Purchases, subscriptions and refunds
Anything involving money is handled by Apple, not me. Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and request a refund through Apple’s refund process (external site). I can’t issue refunds or see your payment details.
Your data
I don’t collect any. The privacy policy explains what that means in practice, and the terms & conditions cover the rest.
